Hi! We Are The Polychromatic Dramatic Society...
We are a group of applied theatre practitioners, currently studying at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, who encourage and celebrate uniqueness through the arts.
We are so excited and grateful to be working in Manchester with The Proud Trust through May/June 2019. We will be delivering and facilitating workshops over the course of two weeks at The Proud Trust’s LGBT+ centre in Manchester, leading up to a performance date on the 1st June.
We are hosting and running this raffle to raise us enough funds to contribute towards workshop resources and costumes/props/content for the performances’ acts. We're planning to run a series of workshops around queer identity, diversity, individuality, and creating performance and art in relation to the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. This will include writing, singing/music, photography, arts, crafts, character work, ensemble, games, poetry, and devising. These workshops will lead to a cabaret performance at the end of the project, where the young people can exhibit their work and performances.
We really want to be able to deliver one of a kind experiences for the participants we will be working with and The Proud Trust – and that’s why we’re asking for your help!
